High School Football KickoffA rain and lightning storm delayed, but could not stop, the start of the newly formed South Suburban Conference 2010 football schedule. Under first year head coach Brian Vossen, the Lakeville North Panthers defeated Eastview 3-0 in overtime. Rosemount rolled over Bloomington Kennedy 34-13 at Rosemount. Prior Lake won their first game in the new conference over Apple Valley 17-14 in overtime. Burnsville crushed Bloomington Jefferson 35-20 at Bloomington Stadium.
